Also, VMTS personnel have completed the on-line training classes entitled “VA Cyber Security Awareness” and “VHA Privacy Policy.” VMTS is compliant with all Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) of 1996 standards and is committed to making certain that the company’s services and systems are integrated into a user-friendly environment that supports ongoing compliance with the electronic transactions, security, and privacy standards as currently regulated.
