Worked as an Electrical Supervisor in Dry Docks, Batam, Indonesia. Responsibilities were from electrical construction supervision to commissioning of a Cement Carrier and DP2 Vessels. I have the necessary theoretical knowledge and sound logic in fault finding on all kinds of electrical and electronic circuitry including hydraulics, pneumatics controls, relay logic and PLC’s. Familiar with PID algorithm’s to state of the art Instrumentation.. DRY DOCKS, Batam Electrica l Supervisor Jan 2008-Nov 2009  Worked on the construction of a Cement Carrier and 2 PSV & 2 AHTS both DP2 class vessels in Dry docks, Batam, Indonesia.  Coordinated construction work with shipyard supervisors; contractors; sorted out drawing issues.  Sized cables and relocated cable trays as per cable specifications and permissible radius of bend.  Tested and commissioned electrical equipment as per BV class.  Familiar with Kongsberg and Converteam, ME Automation, Power Management and DP systems. MACVIRO GENIVAR Electrica l Supervisor Feb 2002-Dec 2007  Supervised Instrumentation upgrade, generator installation, HVAC & Fire Alarm Installation & upgrade.  Liaised between consultants and contractors.  Carried out construction work in critical Bell Buildings; ensured that there was no down time of the Bell Network; issued safe work permits and followed safe work practices.

DALMA ENERGY Electronic Technician 1994-1997  Worked on their DP2 class drill ship with Allstom DPS900.  Carried out maintenance and repair of all Electronic equipment and instrumentation on the drill ship.  Whenever necessary calibrated and modified electronic systems. UNIVAN SHIP MANAGEMENT Electrica l Off icer 1990-1994  Worked on their fleet of Oil Tankers doing trade worldwide  Repaired HF radios, Radar’s, Direction Finders & VHF radios on board ships.  Worked extensively on marine automation involving Main Engine, Aux Engines 2 stage boilers, and steam turbines involving Pneumatic and PLC logic circuits.

 Worked as an Electronic Technician on Drill Ships.  The drill ship had a DP system controlled by Honeywell control System  It had Diesel electric propulsion. DC drives were also used for rotary table, draw works and dynamic positioning.  The DC controller used SCR and was water cooled  Carried out the maintenance and repair of the subsea BOP, drilling instrumentation and all other electronic gear found on a drill ship.
