BARWON REGION JUNIOR COUNTRY WEEK 2016 4-7 JANUARY 1. Times of Play All games in each competition will commence at 9.30 and players are asked to be in attendance at your ground at 9.00am. It is anticipated that lunch will be taken at approximately 12 noon each day for 30-45 minutes with play resuming at approximately 1.00 pm for a finish at about 3.15. 2. Club Responsibilities Clubs have been assigned responsibility for the managing & care of the various teams (26 in total). Managing Clubs are required to ensure a kit and stumps and wicket keeping gear is available to use each day of the tournament. The Association provides balls, score sheets and information packs at the respective launches on Sunday 3 January 2016.  GCA – St. Mary’s Sporting Club, Kardinia Park (Latrobe Terrace) 10.00am 3 Jan 2016  BPCA – Refer Glen Potter/ Paul Madden  Colac – Refer Sam Kelly/Shane Vickery Responsible clubs are expected to have toilet facilities open and available for players and supporters each day. At the end of each day’s play, both team managers are to ensure the rooms, toilet facilities and general facilities are left clean and tidy. 3. Match Results Results of each match are to be telephoned by the winning Manager to Dennis Davie as soon as possible after the completion of matches on 0412 718134. Results must be submitted prior to 5.30pm to allow collation for press reporting next day. 4. Playing Conditions Playing conditions are based on all players having the opportunity to enjoy the week and participate as much as possible, but recognizing they have teammates who wish to do the same. The following guidance is therefore provided for team managers/coaches and the Junior Board expects this guidance to be followed.  Under 15- 40 0ver games Batsmen: Retire at 40 but can resume if team out. Bowlers: Maximum of 7 overs  Under 13- 40 0ver games Batsmen: Retire at 30 but can resume if team out. Bowlers: Maximum of 5 overs. 5. Lunch and Drinks/Refreshments Players, supporters, managers and others are expected to provide their own drinks and lunches. It is not the responsibility of hosting clubs to do so. 6. Finals Finals will be conducted on the Thursday for the teams finishing 1st & 2nd in each of the groups. Finals playing conditions will be the same as during the week. Grounds for finals will be decided as the week unfolds. Medallions will be presented to the divisional winners. 7.
