5K on the Runway Mobile Aeroplex at Brookley September 24, 2016 ~ Fun Run/Walk – 5:30 PM ~ 5K+ Run/Walk - 6 PM Start Times: Fun Run/Walk will start at 5:30 PM. 5K+ Run/Walk will start at 6 PM. Location: Mobile Aeroplex at Brookley on Broad Street (1891 Ninth Street, Mobile, AL 36615) Distances: Certified 3.2 Mile course (5K+) will take participants down the runway and by airplane hangars of the Mobile Aeroplex. 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk follows a loop course in the heart of the Mobile Aeroplex. Registration: Pre-register by mail (entries should be postmarked by September 15, 2016), walk-in at McCoy Outdoor, Run-N-Tri, or Fleet Feet in Mobile or Running Wild in Fairhope until noon on Thursday, September 22, or online (http://www.brookley5k.com/page/Registration) until 4 AM September 22. Early packet pick-up and registration will be available on Friday, September 23 from 11 AM until 6 PM at the Mobile Aeroplex at Brookley. Race day packet pick-up and late registration will be available on Saturday, September 24 from 12 PM – 5:30 PM. Fees: Adults: Children (12 and under): Pre-registered by 9/15: $20 Pre-registered by 9/15: $15 Register between 9/15 to 9/23: $25 Register between 9/15 to 9/23: $20 Day of Race: $35 Day of Race: $25 *Entry fee includes short sleeve cotton tee shirt and entrance to post-race celebration. Shirts: All registered participants will receive a short sleeve cotton shirt. To guarantee a race shirt in the size requested, please register by September 16. Awards: Top male and female Overall, Masters, Grandmasters, and Senior Grandmasters. Top three male and female in age groups: 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55- 59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, and 75-99. All fun run finishers will receive a finishers’ ribbon.

I know that running a road race is a potentially hazardous activity that could cause injury or death. I should not enter and run unless I am medically able and properly trained, and by my signature I certify that I am medically able to perform this event, am in good health and am properly trained. I agree to abide by any decision of a race official relative to any aspect of my participation in this event, including the right of any official to deny or suspend my participation for any reason whatsoever. I assume all risks associated with running or walking in this event, including but not limited to: falls, contact with other participants, the effects of the weather, including high heat and/or humidity, traffic and the conditions of the road, all such risks being known and appreciated by me. I understand that bicycles, skateboards, baby joggers, strollers, roller skates or blades, animals, and headsets/headphones/ear buds are not allowed in the 5K race and I will abide by these guidelines. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts and in consideration of your accepting my entry, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release Mobile Aeroplex at Brookley, Mobile Airport Authority, Airbus, Friends of Doyle Park, LRH Productions, the City of Mobile, their employees, officers, and agents, all sponsors, their representatives and successors from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in this event, even though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons named in this waiver.
