Houston Area Arts 2009-17 Creator of Roadsign USA, a cultural initiative that is part spectacle and part art exhibition space. Front street signage is located on an unremarkable, but heavily traveled boulevard near the medical center in Houston, TX, inside Loop 610. Four municipal jurisdictions share the boulevard road frontage. The sign rises above the federal train tracks on the west. It is diminutive compared to the cell phone and electricity towers on the south. On the landscape it looks just like another public utility pole, more or less. Ten artists have participated in the project to this date.

2009-14 Founding member of Municipal Dirt, an evolving group of independent artists contemplating urban culture and aesthetics in and around Houston, TX. Principal partners are Russ Pitman Park and its conservancy naturalists. The park is 4-acres of exotic and native plants located in Houston’s first suburb, Bellaire, TX.
