1 Partner Search Form Objectives

In recent years, purposeful large-scale work on the development of ICT has been executed in Uzbekistan. As a result, ICT were successfully introduced to all sectors of the economy, government, business, science and education.

“Electronic Government“ system development Center was established under the State Committee for communication, Informatization and telecommunication technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the basis of the government decision on September, 2013. And also "e-Government" training center under the Tashkent University of Information Technology was established on 2014.

As one of the key research and teaching departments at the Tashkent University of Information Technologies, Information technologies department trains master specialists in the field of "Electronic government system design and management" giving them the broad knowledge and skills of information and communication technologies in order to prepare future leaders in the E- government system.

The main goal of the project is to modernize and update the curriculum of "Electronic government system design and management" specialty of Master degree in TUIT, in order to educate highly qualified specialists to meet the requirements of time and current trends of e-government system of European countries which constantly introduces new services to the public and private sector of government agencies.

Our mission will include the followings:

• The development of new methodological approaches to training in master’s program in education; • Creation of the material and technical base of laboratories providing specialized training study of electronic government systems; • Implementation of ICT platforms for electronic distance learning and dissemination of knowledge in the field of government systems development skills; • Creation of educational presentations and handouts test development for evaluation of knowledge in the field of development of the system of “E-government”; • Creation of government academy for scientific and practical skills in this area and to establish links with other institutions where strong-minded system of government. • The introduction of new information technologies and telecommunications in the development of education, retraining and skills development of “Electronic government” system; • The creation of new services for countries enabling users to effectively and timely information from institutions;  The development strategic directions for further development and improvement curriculum of "e-Government" training center on the basis of the analysis and research of global trends and the experience of foreign countries according to the interests of “Electronic Government“ system development Center of Uzbekistan.

We are looking to expand our international links and are looking for partner universities preparing a bid for an Erasmus+ project in the area of “E-government system”.

Activities
