Office Assistant Job Description

Pay: pending experience 20 + Hours per week to start with during business hours

Skills required:

 Medical Office Assistant experience required Medical Billing experience a plus  Must be Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Facebook and Powerpoint  High Level Data Entry skills are important with typing of a minimum of 50 WPM  Excellent Telephone Etiquette, fearless yet personable and friendly with front desk awareness, self-motivated with the ability to multitask  Ability to make adjustments on the fly  Ability to work quickly yet efficiently with accuracy, and timeliness.  Handle payments, collections, and any complaints from patients.  Spanish Speaking is an enormous plus.

Job Duties:

 Creating Patient Files and maintaining up to date, thorough information on each patient.  Staying in touch with patients on a weekly basis to ensure they keep their appointments, are following protocols we give them, and are doing their homework  Reactivating Patients who have not been if for an office visit recently  Sending out patient welcome packets, birthday cards.  Maintaining and creating office protocols for front office and acupuncturist  Helping to create and send out E-Newsletters via Constant Contact and synching them to Facebook  Keeping the calendar, address book and I-phone all synched  Taking inventory weekly and ordering product for the office  Light cleaning of the office as needed
