CAPACITY BUILDING MINI-GRANT PROGRAM
An ongoing mini-grant program for non-profit organizations serving the greater Phoenixville region Intended to assist non-profit organizations with training and educational programs that strengthen the governance structure, program accountability, and program sustainability.
PROGRAMS THAT MAY QUALIFY FOR A GRANT INCLUDE:
Board of Director Training Strategic Planning Standards for Excellence Activities Outcome-Based Program Evaluation Staff Development Training Fund Development Training/Resources

Background
The Phoenixville Community Health Foundation has established this mini-grant program to promote good governance and best practices within the non-profit organizations that serve the greater Phoenixville region. This Capacity Building Mini-Grant Program will consider requests for up to $1,000 for capacity-building activities such as strategic planning, board training, outcome-based program evaluations, organizational sustainability, etc.
Eligibility
Funding through this Min-Grant program is available one-time within a three- year period Mini-grants can be requested at any time. $1,000 is the maximum mini-grant or 50% of the cost of the capacity building activity – whichever is lower. The following municipalities are within the Foundation’s eligible service area: Chester County Charlestown Township Phoenixville Borough East Coventry Township Schuylkill Township East Nantmeal Township Spring City Borough East Vincent Township South Coventry Township East Pikeland Township West Vincent Township North Coventry Township West Pikeland Township Montgomery County Collegeville Borough Royersford Borough Limerick Township Trappe Borough Lower Pottsgrove Township Upper Providence Township Lower Providence Township
