December 2017 Newsletter Happy Holidays Monday Activities December 4, 11, 18: Bowling at Concordia Lanes. Please arrive no later than 4:15pm. Bowling starts promptly at 4:30pm. Late arrivals may NOT be able to bowl per bowling alley rules, Thanks!. Cost is $5.00 per game this year. The extra 50 cents will be covered by the Allina Neighborhood Health Partners Grant for healthy activities. NO BOWLING ON CHRISTMAS DAY. ______Tuesday Activities December 5: Cooking Class at the Middle School, 400 S Payne Street, Main Entrance near the playground—Door 1. Please remember to check the website, Facebook, the answering message on the phone (this will be updated before 3:00 p.m.) or listen to KNUJ 860 AM or SAM 107.3 FM radio for information about cancelations. If there is a weather advisory, schools are canceled or it is 10 below zero or colder on weather.com, you can assume that events will be canceled. Please always check before you come out. As always, use your best judgment when driving this winter. Thanks! Upcoming Cooking Class Dates: The Allina Grant has come to an end. We will look at still having the cooking classes. Stay tuned for more info on that. The cooking class on Tuesday, December 5 is still free courtesy of the Allina Neighborhood Health Connection Grant that ARS was awarded. **due to the popularity, class sizes will be limited because of the room size**Please don’t just show up…..RSVP is mandatory. Thanks! Bowling T-shirts: A second order will be placed on December 4, 2017 if you didn’t get a chance to order the first time. The cost is $16.00 per shirt and must be paid before your shirt is ordered. Thanks! PLEASE REMEMBER TO RSVP FOR ACTIVITIES.
