Children’s Hospital Project Help Needed: Bring Toiletries Pat Lozito’s ABS Class is taking a Fall Festival to the Harbor Center at Children’s Hospital. In addition to the Glow Party on November 21 st, they are in need of some simple, new travel-size toiletry items: shampoo, conditioner, soap, toothpaste, toothbrush, deodorant, hair spray, hair gel, hand lotion, baby lotion, baby shampoo, etc. Bring these items to one of the collection boxes by Sunday, Nov. 14. The boxes are located at the Info Desk and at the Preschool Welcome Desk. Operation Christmas Child Shoe Boxes for Children in Need Westwood is collecting gift-filled shoe boxes for children in countries across the globe through Operation Christmas Child. Pick up brochures on how to pack a shoe-box, a prayer guide, and empty shoe-boxes if needed for you to take home and fill. For about $10.00 a family can fill a box with small toys, a comb, soap, a toothbrush, and other such items for needy children. Last year Operation Christmas Child distributed 7.6 million shoe boxes in over 100 countries around the world. Every child who receives a shoe-box also hears the story of God’s love through His Son Jesus Christ. Bring the box by November 14.
