The 3 Main Reasons We Celebrate Baby Day

Dear Parents,

Baby Day is almost here! The celebration is on Sunday, January 25 in both the 9:30 and 11:00 am services.

The 3 main reasons we celebrate Baby Day: 1. To commit to raise your child as the top priority in your life. 2. To acknowledge that this child is a gift from God. 3. Dedicate to be a Godly parent with the desire that your child will come to know Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.

Attached are the forms that we need filled out and brought back. You can either drop them off during the week to the church office or bring them back with you next Sunday and return them to the nursery by 1/18/15. I will also be putting together invitations for you to pass out to friends and family, those will be ready when you drop off your paperwork. As part of the service, we do a slide show presentation of all the families that are involved in baby day. Please email two high-resolution pictures by 1/18/15, one of your child by him or herself and one of the whole family.

We are looking forward in sharing in this day with you as your church family. Please invite family, friends, and neighbors to join you as well to celebrate your wonderful gift from God.

Would you be willing to share some more information? Pastor Steve would like to add some stories that apply to his message from events that have happened during the past, year, months, or weeks with your child. The following items are things that can get you thinking.

Did you have years of infertility? Were there health issues? Did you see God work in any “mysterious” ways? Anything significant or unusual about the pregnancy or birth of this child? Any specific prayers answered? Have any funny things happened as you have adjusted to life with your new one?
