1. Explain the central topic and purpose of the workshop/seminar. What are the presenter/facilitator’s goals for this workshop? Using technology to leverage time and effort delivering to large class sizes.

2. What information in the workshop/seminar was most valuable to you? The practical use of a Tablet PC while delivering a lecture – was very applied and attractive to experiment with.

3. How will you connect that information to your own pedagogical endeavors? If I can operate OPC or OST then I will defiantly us a Tablet – It is important for me to move around during my lectures. Tablet PC allows for that.

4. After attending this workshop/seminar, what additional information would you like to seek about this subject?  Will department pay for tablet?  Will Tablet delivery do well in CM?  Will look into training to cut down on the learning curve.  Quality might be an issue if you do things quickly.  Very intriguing to be able to post on U-Tube

7. How will you connect that information to your own pedagogical endeavors? Use “SaveAsign” never be too embarrassed to ask for help – even from your instructor.

9. Explain the central topic and purpose of the workshop/seminar. What are the presenter/facilitator’s goals for this workshop? Why cheating happens and what we can do as instructors to prevent cheating especially when teaching large classes.

10. What information in the workshop/seminar was most valuable to you? As an instructor it is your responsibility to talk to students about cheating. You as instructor set the stage and should keep them accountable for honest conduct.

11. How will you connect that information to your own pedagogical endeavors? Ensure face-validity by not giving student’s reason to deviate towards cheating. It all has to do with the consistency of the course.

After attending this workshop/seminar, what additional information would you like to seek about this subject?  How to provide APA training to students.  Find more out about the steps in how to handle cheating. 1) Prevent 2) Detect 3) Diplomacy 4) Defend Also know about the Conflict Resolution Office.

14. What information in the workshop/seminar was most valuable to you? The APA outline and the communication model diagram – handouts provided to attendees.

15. How will you connect that information to your own pedagogical endeavors?  See myself as instructor and sender – delivering data to students the recipients – back to me as the receiver. Upon completion of this loop I am to judge to quality of work.

16. After attending this workshop/seminar, what additional information would you like to seek about this subject? The above information does not only apply to graduate students, most graduate students lack in these areas also. Tilt or the writing center should offer a seminar on APA.

18. What information in the workshop/seminar was most valuable to you? It is important to ground your students for what you are about to deliver to them. How was your weekend for example and lecture that into the delivery.

19. How will you connect that information to your own pedagogical endeavors? Always start off with a very general question at the beginning of the class. Allow students to nominate the next person to answer the second question. It allows for some game-play.

20. After attending this workshop/seminar, what additional information would you like to seek about this subject?  How to successfully expand questioning approaches without loosing momentum.  How to memorize student names.

23. How will you connect that information to your own pedagogical endeavors? Will share with students about active learning. Also make a point of creating an active learning environment in my class sessions.

24. After attending this workshop/seminar, what additional information would you like to seek about this subject?  How to encourage students to act upon active learning as soon as they leave class. Do not wait till 6 days after class till you recall on materials.  Ways to help students put new information into perspective.  Learn more about cheating – to help students not to do it in estimating where they work with numbers.
