Prayer Requests The Elders are available to pray with you after the service today and also pray during the week for any needs and concerns which have been brought to them. After Worship, We are invited to place prayer requests TEA & COFFEE on the board near the main door. These in Myrtle Hall. Join us requests are taken to our Wednesday – it’s free morning prayer meeting.

We Welcome Andrew our Guest organist We are delighted to welcome Andrew Roberts as our organist this morning. Andrew lives in Ripon and is a Circuit Steward as well as a musician! Andrew is staying with Nicola this weekend. They used to sing together in the British Methodist Youth Choir. Inauguration of New Circuit Superintendent A Circuit service to mark the inauguration of Revd Nicola Vidamour as a superintendent will be held next Sunday, 31st August at 6:00pm here in Pilgrims Way with a reception to follow. All are welcome! Taize Service There will be Taize Service at Bryant Street Methodist church, on Tuesday, September 9 at 7:00pm. Spare Room to Rent Tom, an ex-member of Manor Park Methodist Church moved with his family to Cirencester some years ago but still works in an office in London. He is now in his early 50's, finding travelling increasingly difficult (leaving home at 5:30am) and is looking to rent a room three nights a week (Mon, Tues & Wed) in this area. He does not necessarily require meals to be provided. If anyone is able to offer Tom such accommodation, please contact Norman Stephens (8989 8489) in the first instance. Curry, Coffee and Cake Café – Next Saturday! The next Curry Café will be held on Saturday, August 30th. We ask more people to get involved and we welcome voluntary donations to buy ingredients - make a donation to Eric. Door open at 10am until 2pm. Own Arrangement Service There will be an own arrangement service on the morning of September 28. If you would like to be involved in the planning and leading of this service please sign the list on the notice-board. Biscuit Wrappers Please keep collecting the plastic biscuit wrappers (not paper or foil).

I hope many of you will be able to come to this Circuit Service which we are hosting here at Pilgrims Way next Sunday evening. I am very excited about it and am sure that it is going to be a splendid occasion! After the service we will be serving light refreshments in the hall. It would be much appreciated if you are able to being some plantain, peanuts, cake or other finger food! We are expecting about 100 people. I would also love it if you can wear traditional dress!
