INSTRUCTIONS 1) Insert your responses below (in the grey boxes). 2) In addition to uploading all other required application materials (as outlined on the Masters: Admissions page), applicants who wish to be considered for the Eco-Entrepreneurship Fellowship need to upload the completed Eco-E Fellowship application questionnaire to their UCSB electronic application (UCSB e-app). 3) To include this required Eco-E application on your UCSB e-app, click on the Statements & Supplemental Documents Application Section and select to "Edit Section." After you have uploaded the three required application documents (Statement of Purpose, Personal Achievements/Contributions Statement, and Resume or CV), select "Other Document Type." In the Document Title text bar, enter Eco-Entrepreneurship Fellowship Application. Click browse to find and upload your responses to the Eco-E application questionnaire as a PDF or in MS Word format.

Eco-Entrepreneurship experience and interest: If you have launched or developed an idea for a business, social or environmental venture, please provide a description of the venture and clearly explain your business model. What is the current status of your venture? What have you learned? If you have not launched or developed an idea for a new venture, please discuss why you are interested in eco-entrepreneurship. How do you envision applying eco-entrepreneurial skills in your career after receiving a MESM degree at Bren? (1-2 pages)

2. Innovation: Please describe a time when you had the opportunity to generate a creative solution to a problem. What happened? How did you come up with the solution? (1 page)

3. Adaptability: Please describe a situation in which you encountered something unexpected or dealt with several unanticipated changes. Did this present a problem for you? What did you do? (1 page)

4. Initiative: Please describe a time when you challenged yourself to explore something new or to take an uncertain path. What happened? What did you learn from the experience? (1 page)

5. Leadership and team building: Describe a specific example of a situation in which you demonstrated leadership and/or put together a team. Pay particular attention to how you led, how you motivated others, what inspired you to lead and what you learned from the experience. (1 page)
