1. Call meeting to order and recognize guests.

iii. Communications Don Broussard
Broussard reported that Craig Kelman and Associates produced the Southwest Water Works Journal for the first three quarters of 2016, and articles are due to the Executive Director by November 4, 2016 for the Winter, 2016 issue.
iv. Education Bill Clark
No report given.
v. Fuller Award Larry Lloyd
The Committee has identified an honoree for the Fuller Award, which will be presented during today’s President’s Luncheon.
vi. Kellogg Award Alan Fortenberry
The Committee has identified an honoree for the Kellogg Award, which will be presented during today’s President’s Luncheon.
vii. Manufacturers / Associates Council Brad Hammond
The Manufacturers and Associates Council (MAC) has been part of the planning of this conference, and wants to encourage service provider members to get involved with the MAC. During 2016, the MAC met several times by conference call and has a meeting scheduled right after the President’s Luncheon in the Hammons Boardroom.

ix. Miller Award Perry Nelson
The Committee has identified an honoree for the Miller Award, which will be presented during today’s President’s Luncheon.
x. Performance Evaluation Bill HagenBurger
The Executive Director’s performance was evaluated by the Committee, consisting of the Past Chair, Chair, Chair-Elect, Vice Chair, Director and Treasurer, during the Mid Year Board Meeting in Rogers, AR this past April. The overall rating was “Meets Expectations”; ED was given goals for the next year to achieve.
xi. Program Ray Avery
The Program Committee has three full tracks set up in Salon A, B and C, and the technical program begins after the President’s Luncheon ends. There are 10 presentations each in the Source, Treatment, Distribution, Operation and Maintenance track, Management, Rates and Funding track, and Environmental Issues track. Please sign-in at each technical session to get credit for your attendance for your professional licenses.
xii. Scholarship Don Broussard
The Scholarship Committee reviewed 6 applications for the 3-$1,000 scholarships, and awards were made to:
Baylee Bowden – Arkansas Cameron Gautreaux – Louisiana Kaleb Schwab – Oklahoma
All awardees have received the first $500 of the award, and will receive the second half for the spring, 2017 semester.
xiii. Time & Place Don Broussard
The 2017 Southwest Section Annual Conference and Exposition is scheduled for October 15-17, 2017 in Oklahoma City, OK. The Time and Place committee will finalize the 2018 host city and utility during the Post Conference Board Meeting on Tuesday afternoon. xiv. Water For People Perry Nelson
Water For People is set up in the exhibit hall in Booths 18 and 19. Please stop by and check out the items donated and take a chance for a good cause.
