KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS IN SERVICE TO ONE. IN SERVICE TO ALL.

KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS SCHOLARSHIP MARION COUNCIL #6210 AND LADIES AUXILIARY

PURPOSE: To assist a person who is pursuing an academic/vocational post secondary educational program.

CRITERIA: This person will be chosen based on their written application and the required essay at the end of this application. A transcript must be submitted with the scholarship application and written essay.

The applicant must be a participating Catholic, full time student, and a graduate of high school this year; involved in church, school, and community activities or a dependent of a member of Knights of Columbus Council #6210 and or Ladies Auxiliary. Proof of school admission required to receive scholarship funds.

SCREENING & SELECTION COMMITTEE: *Members of Council #6210 *Members of the Ladies Auxiliary *The Pastor of the Church *The Youth Minister *School Representative

SCHOLARSHIP AMOUNT: (3) $1,000.00

SUBMISSION: Application must be submitted to the Marion High School Guidance Office by February 23, 2018.

SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION: The scholarship winner’s parents will be contacted by the scholarship chairman. The student will be recognized and monies will be given at a KC and or a Ladies Auxiliary meeting. The recipients will also be acknowledged at their school award ceremony. NOTE: *Individual are NOT eligible to be on the screening and or selection committee if they are related to an applicant in any way.*
