Subimo is the market leader in decision support tools for consumers. Subimo helps employers and health plans improve health care and reduce costs by providing robust, interactive tools to consumers. Over 40 million Americans have access to Subimo’s tools. Subimo’s clients include leading health insurance companies such as WellPoint, Anthem, Oxford Health Plan, and HealthMarket. Prior to founding Subimo, Ms. Johnson was senior vice president at Sachs Group (now part of Solucient), the leading provider of health care information in the industry. She led the product development effort and was responsible for the development of new models for ambulatory forecasts; database marketing solutions for healthcare organizations; and the migration of Sachs’ information solutions to the Internet. During her tenure, the company experienced aggressive annual revenue growth, and expanded its market to include hospitals, health plans, insurance companies, medical device companies and disease management firms.

Ms. Johnson frequently speaks on the topic of consumer driven health care and decision tools for consumers in health care. She has presented at the Congress for Consumer Driven Healthcare, The New York Business Group on Health, the Forum for Healthcare Strategists, the Society for Planning and Market Development, AAHP, and other professional organizations. She has also presented extensively on these topics to hospital groups, including to the members of Voluntary Hospitals of America, Child Health Corporation of America and to the Board of Directors for the Sisters of Mercy Health System.

Ms. Johnson is active in several initiatives relative to consumerism in healthcare. She is a member of the “Finding Doctors in Chicago” Directory Advisory Council (through the Midwest Business Group on Health), participated in URAC’s work resulting in a set of recommendations entitled “Setting the Agenda for On-Line Health Search” and is currently a member of URAC’s Consumer Directed Advisory Committee. Ms. Johnson was the first member of the National Association of Health Data Organizations Board of Directors to represent the private sector. She is active in the Alumni Association for Carleton College, where she earned her Bachelors of Art. She received a MBA in finance and a Masters in Health Care Administration, both from the University of Minnesota.
