Ada County a. Visit http://www.adacountyassessor.org/propsys/TermsConditions.jsp b. Click “accept terms of service”, click submit c. Enter street number only (not street name), select current tax year, click submit d. Locate subject property in list of results, and click on its parcel number e. Click on the “tax districts” tab. The levy rate is the “total levy” rate at the bottom of the table
Canyon County a. Visit http://id-canyon-assessor.governmaxa.com/propertymax/rover30.asp b. Click “guest access”, click “start your search” c. Enter street number only (not street name), select current tax year, click submit d. Locate subject property in list of results, and click on its parcel number e. Note the “tax district” number f. Visit: http://www.canyonco.org/Treasurer/Tax_Levy_Rates g. Locate the code area / tax district. The levy rate is the total tax rate at bottom
To calculate estimated property tax once you have located the property tax rate: 1) Paragon > Tax > Select County > Enter property’s street number in min and max, click “search” 2) Locate the subject property in the list of results and double click on the address 3) For Ada County, the “total assessed value” is the assessed value 4) For Canyon County, the “total value” is the assessed value 5) Assessed value - $83,974 owner occupied homeowner's exemption = taxable basis *** 6) Taxable basis x levy rate = estimated annual tax 7) Estimated annual tax / 12 = Monthly tax 8) *** If the property’s value is less than $167,948, the taxable basis is the assessed value x 0.50.
