F.3 OPTION TO EXTEND COMPLETION DATE (JSC 52.217-90) (OCT 1996)

The Government may require the contractor to continue to perform services under this contract. The CO may exercise this option by issuance of a unilateral contract modification 30 days or more before the completion date set forth in section F. Should the option be exercised, the resultant contract will include all terms and conditions of the basic contract as it exists immediately prior to the exercise of the option, except for Clause B.1: NAS 9-02099 SECTION F

“B.1ESTIMATED COST AND FEE

The estimated cost of this contract is $182,001,506. The maximum available award fee is $19,513,453. Total estimated cost and maximum award fee are $201,514,959.

Change request issued dates under this clause shall be based on the date authorized by contract Change Order (CCO), or Supplemental Agreement (SA).”

And Clause I.3, paragraph (a):

“I.3 PAYMENT FOR OVERTIME PREMIUMS (FAR 52.222-2) (JUL 1990) (a) The use of overtime is authorized under this contract if the overtime premium does not exceed $1,159,495 for the Option period, or the overtime premium is paid for work –“

Block 16 of each DD Form 250 prepared for hardware or equipment to be shipped under this contract must be annotated as follows in 1/4-inch letters or larger by hand printing or rubber stamp:

"THIS IS A FLIGHT ITEM" or "THIS IS MISSION ESSENTIAL GROUND SUPPORT EQUIPMENT", as applicable.
