Hospital will join hospitals across the country and globe in observing World Wide Pressure Injury Prevention Day, November 16, 2017. Hospital's special activities will recognize the contributions of the Staff and their role as goodwill ambassadors for the hospital. World Wide Pressure Injury Prevention Day was first observed in 2013 and is growing in recognition from many governing bodies across the world. It is most appropriate to set aside a special time to recognize the contributions of hospital personnel. The annual celebration of Worldwide Pressure Injury Prevention Day is sponsored by the National Pressure Ulcer Advisory Panel (www.npuap.org).
