The Late Middle Ages s1

The Late Middle Ages

The Crusaders brought new goods and new ideas back to Europe. In turn, these stimulated tremendous social and economic changes that would result in the decline of the Middle Ages and the beginning of a new historical era, The Renaissance. It is difficult to pinpoint an exact date for this transition from one era to another, but the changes that Europe experienced after the Crusades clearly began the decline of feudalism.

Your task:  You will work with a partner to complete a selection of assignments on the developments of the Late Middle Ages that would usher in the new age.  Below, find a tic-tac-toe board with a variety of projects.  Each team must complete three projects. Select your projects by drawing a tic-tac-toe line through the projects selected. This must be a straight line – remember, you are playing tic-tac-toe. The line may be straight or diagonal.  In addition to the sources provided, you may refer to the copies of the textbook that are available in the back of the classroom.  Unless otherwise indicated, each project must be written with a minimum of two unified paragraphs, using your own words. Your task is to inform the readers of the main ideas associated with your topic, and then select a few facts to illustrate this idea. Do not just copy and paste facts from the research. Facts only have meaning if they are explained or put in context.  Completed projects are due at the end of the period on Wednesday.  Projects must be typed, Times New Roman, font size 12.
