1. Are you ready

2. Tools of the trade
In the next few sections, you will be asked to create colours by mixing paint. For each question write down the number of litres of each colour of paint you would use.
3. Start your apprenticeship

How many litres of red paint would we need? My second favourite colour can be created by mixing 3 litres of red paint with 2 litres of yellow paint. How would you create 10 litres of this colour? How would you create 15 litres of this colour? We have just found out that we can create this colour by mixing:
3 litres of red paint with 2 litres of yellow paint or
6 litres of red paint with 4 litres of yellow paint or
9 litres of red paint with 6 litres of yellow paint.
We can summarise this by saying:
