Genoa Golf Team Code of Conduct

It is important for the members of the Jaguar golf team to recognize that they represent the school and the Westerville community. “We” shall remember the rules and proper etiquette of the game of golf and set an example for those that follow. All members of the Jaguar golf team are expected to observe the Code of Conduct. Failure to observe these guidelines could lead to disciplinary action and/or disqualification from team events.

1. Jaguar team members are expected to attend golf matches and practice sessions. These sessions help build team unity, provide opportunity for further game improvement, and go toward determining who plays in what matches. 2. Conduct oneself with a positive attitude and do not engage in unsportsmanlike conduct. [Swearing, Throwing clubs, Abusing golf course, Stomping off after bad round, or Demoralizing teammates] 3. On match days players must play their own game and may not receive advice from parents, friends, or playing partners. Disqualification can be imposed on any player seen communicating with anyone other than their coach on the course. 4. Respect those that you play against – shake hands at the beginning and end of your round.

I the undersigned agree to try my best to follow the Genoa Golf Team Code of Conduct
