Summary Implement and operate effective programs for youth that reflect the mission of the YWCA Bucks County.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Program Planning and Implementation  Plan, implement and report on youth programs (including, but not limited to Homework Zone, EAIP, Kids’ Korner, Saturday Camp, Summer Camps, Email Authors and Teens)  Coordinate recruitment of participants, tutors, mentors, and volunteers to meet established attendance goals  Research and schedule programming including, but not limited to, academic enrichment, field trips, guest speakers/presentations, etc.  Assist in curriculum development for new programs  Develop learning assessments and track outcomes  Coordinate the collection of outcome measurement tools and analyze data for reporting  Coordinate Archdiocese Nutritional Development feeding program  Serve as staff liaison with school-based contacts  Deliver programs and substitute as needed  Coordinate Holiday Hearts program

Program Administration  Supervise off-site youth program staff  Facilitate program trainings for staff  Conduct regular program site visits and provide written feedback to Director of Program Services on needs, changing trends, effective program delivery and recommendations  Arrange substitute coverage for staff outages  Complete annual evaluations for youth program staff

Marketing/Public Relations  Create flyers and marketing materials for youth programs  Builds relationships with other service agencies and community organizations, and represent YWCA at community meetings, events and on community coalitions, task forces and boards

 Bachelor’s degree in Education or Human Services degree with at least two years experience working with children  Demonstrated experience in a leadership position  Experience supervising staff and ability to effectively communicate with off-site staff  Highly organized individual with strong interpersonal skills  Requires knowledge of computer systems  Valid Driver’s License and access to reliable transportation  Local travel required

Work Environment This position will occasionally require the employee to work outdoors, and sometimes in hot weather. The work environment usually has moderate noise, and occasionally has loud noise.
