Lab 9,10 and 11 Excel

Spreadsheet Lab - Excel (Lab 2):

In this lab, you will be creating charts that graphically display data.

1. Execute the tutorial on pages EX2.4 – EX2.68 of your lab manual.

EX2.14 – Cell Styles button replaced by a selection box

Just click on the button on the lower right to see the different selections.

EX2.52 – There is no Gradient Stops drop down menu; instead simply select the 2nd stop

EX2.60 – Reminder: properties may be found in the File tab as shown:

EX2.61 – Advanced Properties may be found in the same place; the option “Save preview picture” has been replaced with “Save Thumbnails for All Excel Documents.”

EX2.66 – Instead of a preview button, clicking on the print tab within the file tab automatically gives you a preview: The page setup is no longer a button, but a link located on the bottom right as circled above.

2. Do practice exercise 2 on page EX2.80. Make sure you include your name as author and as the header.

3. Do practice exercise 4 on page EX2.83. Make sure you add your name as author and include it in the header.
