WOC CRITERIA

If under 180 day appointment basic packet. HRO check Selective Service, LEIE (Exclusionary List) and fingerprints. Then send to HRO to sign letter. (System that list anyone on the no hire Federal Government list- Only HR has access)

Over 60 days – load sheet and OCC Health forms required or TB test verification.

If the appointment is over 180 day their packet needs to go to our Pre- Employment office for background check. Will also need to include resume for background – plus 306 which we already required.

If they are non-citizens we need visa or permanent resident card and the director must approve their packet (Submit packet with the copy of the card and HR will get Director’s signature)

2 weeks preferred for basic packet add a week for e-qip (and a lot of that depends on how diligent the applicant is about completing it) and possibly another week to route to director if he has to sign. RESIDENT/FELLOW CHECKLIST

 Fingerprints are good for 120 days from when they get printed-if fingerprints are good when they start rotation then do not need new fingerprints-Request to have it re-transmitted
