Girls 16 and Under Class a Fast Pitch Tournament s5

CAPITOL SPORTS ASSOCIATION

July 5, 2013

Dear Softball Participant:

Attached is the softball bracket, rules and maps for the Capitol Sports Association ASA Junior Olympic Class “B” and “C” girls tournament for 10, 12, and 14, and under fast pitch teams that will take place in Tahoe City and Truckee, California and Incline Village, Nevada on July 13-14, 2013.

Each division will play a seeding round of three games on Saturday to determine placement for the single elimination tournament, which will take place on Sunday. While the Sunday schedule is included in this package, the Sunday bracket will be posted Saturday at the tournament sites and on www.capitolsports.org by the Tuesday night before the event.

As cell phones and internet connectivity at the lake can be a challenge, on Saturday, managers are responsible for providing to tournament personnel a phone number and contact person to obtain game time for the single elimination event.

The lake offers a variety of fine restaurants for your dining pleasure. In Incline Village we recommend Rookies Sports Bar. It is located just .25 miles from the Middle School fields in the Raley’s shopping center and offer a variety of options for your dining pleasure. It is open 24 hours a day, and is very family friendly. We will have menus for breakfast, lunch or dinner at the softball fields.

Ice chests, dogs on leases and behaving are permitted at all sites. There will be concessions at Conner and Middle School and souvenir tanks and shirts are available for purchase.

Teams may warm up in the outfield areas at Middle Schoole 1 and 3, Preston and NTHS fields. Teams can warm up in the parking lot at Connor and Fendley and beyond the fences at Middle School # 2.

As many of you know, Lake Tahoe is a beautiful place to play softball. With that being said, we ask that you make a point of abiding by the posted rules and clean up any litter that has accumulated related to your game. Your cooperation on this matter is very much appreciated.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact me after 7:00 PM at 707-678-6718.

Thank You

Angelo Queirolo, President
