What is Learning Lab?

Learning Lab is 45 minutes of learning-fun where the children get to participate in the learning activity of the week. In early childhood education, (preschool through second grade), the children do not often get ‘extra’ time that is focused on one academic activity. We created Learning Lab to expose our students to more in-depth exploration of specific academic activities in an engaging and fun setting.

At Creative Learning Campus, children will learn about music, science, reading and math through hands-on experiments and activities. We want your child to have fun and be excited about learning new things! Below is the schedule we’ll follow each month. Week 1: Children will explore the world of MUSIC, MOVEMENT, and RHYTHM. Week 2: Children will explore the world of SCIENCE. Week 3: Children will explore the world of READING. Week 4: Children will explore the world of NUMBERS and MATH. Week 5: Children will explore the world of ART or KIDS’ KITCHEN.

When and Where is Learning Lab?

Learning Lab is offered once per week for four-year olds. Learning Lab is run by the director and our fun, part-time teachers. They meet in the gym or daycare classroom for 45 minutes between the am/pm classes.

Noah’s Crew (4’s): Tuesdays from 11:45 – 12:30p

I’m Interested, Now What?

Sign-up sheets will be posted one week before the next month on your child’s sign-in podium. We need to have a minimum of 8 students signed up per lab in order to be able to run each lab effectively. Be sure to sign up for all of the sessions your child will be able to attend ahead of time so the staff can prepare enough materials.

The lab fee is $5.00 per lab. No refunds are given, except in the case that your child is absent from school.

Please note: All Learning Lab fees will be reflected on your monthly bill and can be paid with your tuition payment. If your child uses the daycare on Learning Lab days and participates in a Lab session, you will not be charged the daycare rate during Learning Lab. The only charge for that hour is the “lab fee”. Also, after Learning Lab material

A place of discovery! costs, the LL fees go directly to our fundraising account for our specific fundraising goals.
