Visa Announcement (tourist and transit) Effective from 8th September 2013

Visa Application Time: 8:30 hrs. – 12:00 noon ONLY Official Days: Sunday to Thursday (except Embassy’s Official Holidays)

Lunch Break: 12.00 pm. - 2:00 pm Releasing of Approved Visa: 2:00 pm. – 3:30 pm. (Official Days: Sunday to Thursday)

*** Duration of Visa Process: 1-2 Working Day (*The Embassy will not issue visa within the same day of receiving your Visa Application Form & Documents)

REQUIREMENTS:

1. 3 Completed visa application forms, which you can be picked up from the Consular Section, or download it from the embassy’s website: www.thaiembassy.org/doha 2. * 3 colored pictures, plain background, passport size. 3. *Original passport (or Travel Document) with one photocopy of passport, residence permit in Qatar (RP inside the passport). 4. Passport or Travel Document should be at least 6 month valid. 5. Photocopy of airline booking & hotel booking in Thailand. 6. *Letter of Certification from the sponsor / company / or related working organization. 7. ** For Qatari’s Travel Document, please also submit your Qatari Identification Card (ID). 8. For other types of visas, please contact Consular Section of the Royal Thai Embassy for further information. N.B.: *** Visa application with incomplete requirements will NOT be accepted. *** No photocopy service is available at the Embassy. *** Upon application, applicant is required to pay the corresponding visa fee. (Transit Visa -130 QR, Tourist Visa -150 QR) *** Embassy Staff / employees are not allowed to fill out any visa application form. **** The Embassy reserves the right to approve or disapprove visa application without any prejudice. ALL visa fee is NOT REFUNDABLE.
