Adults Study Breaks

Our Private English Courses are personalised to your requirements (general, business, Cambridge certificate, etc.) and are the quickest and most effective way to improve your language skills. You will concentrate on the areas you need and benefit from your teacher’s undivided attention to ensure rapid progress. We have been welcoming students to Guernsey for nearly twenty years and our friendly team of experienced and fully qualified native teachers is there to ensure an enjoyable and productive course.

All packages include the following:

1. Pick up and drop off at your arrival point in Guernsey

4. Summary sheet detailing your lessons

1. One-to-One English Course - Standard Option

Our Standard option is ideal for anyone wishing to significantly improve their English in combination with a relaxing holiday in Guernsey. Our program includes:

• 3 hours lesson a day with one of our experienced and fully-qualified teachers, all of whom are native speakers. • Orientation tour of St Peter Port and an informal lunch with your teacher or one of our friendly and knowledgeable members of staff to give you the opportunity to chat with our team and discuss how you are settling in. • The option to have one or more of your lessons in a practical setting, such as a visit to a local place of interest with your teacher.

2. One-to-One English Course - Intensive Option

Our Intensive option provides you with more in-depth study of English and will allow you to make optimum progress in the shortest possible time. Your lessons will be split between two of our qualified teachers to give you a broader range of learning styles and experience and to really boost your English level. Our program includes:

• 5 hours lessons a day with two of our experienced and fully-qualified teachers, all of whom are native speakers. • Orientation tour of St Peter Port and an informal lunch with one of your teachers or one of our friendly and knowledgeable members of staff to give you the opportunity to chat with our team and discuss how you are settling in. • The option to have one or more of your lessons in a practical setting, such as a visit to a local place of interest. • Mid-week lunch with one of your teachers or a member of staff. • An afternoon visit to a local place of interest with one of our teachers or members of staff

3. One-to-One English Course – Home Stay (accommodation included)

The students will be hosted by his/her teacher and will continue learning after class. This stay includes all what the regular course offers but includes also 2 x excursions with your teacher (afternoon or evening) as well as an evening meal out.

Accommodation

We can arrange full board or half board in several hotels or arrange full board accommodation with one of our friendly host families. Staying with a host family means that you:

• Immerse yourself in the language. • Experience the British way of life. • Practise your English outside the classroom.

Host Family Accommodation Host Family accommodation is from Sunday to the following Saturday and includes breakfast, packed lunch and evening meal.

Placement Fee £50 Host Family accommodation from 18 years old £210 per 6 nights/7 days Breakfast, packed lunch, dinner £35 per additional night
