Coopers Bar Event Booking Form

Any person, group, team or society wishing to use Coopers must read, complete and agree to the terms and conditions within this form.

For all events a risk assessment would need to be submitted to the Coopers Bar Manager, [email protected] for approval.

If you are a Society or Sports Club, it may be the case that your group has already produced a risk assessment in place which covers your planned activities. Check with the exec of your group or with [email protected].

Number of expected attendance (maximum 225) Do you wish to charge an entry fee? Usually for events within Coopers Bar, it is expected that events are free entry. Any door charges will have to be agreed by the Manager and the person booking the event would be responsible for following our financial procedures and this element included within your risk assessment

Terms and Conditions

Signed by responsible person I/We promise to send a copy of all artwork and promotional material to the Bar Manager to be approved before the event is advertised. I understand that the event must be advertised for at least 2 full weeks before the event is due to take place and that I am responsible for advertising the event. All events must include the GK Unions A full risk assessment if requested must be completed at least 2 weeks before the event takes place and sent to the Bar Manager for approval. You understand that all acts and participants must adhere to the Student Union’s Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Policy. All artists and bands appearing at Union events must be non- discriminatory. Acts that are deemed likely to contravene this policy will not be allowed to perform. I understand that no under 18’s are allowed to attend the event and that Coopers Bar staff reserve the right to refuse service or entry to the premises to anybody, including under 18s, intoxicated persons or anyone suspected of taking or dealing drugs. The management of Coopers reserves the right to terminate the event at any point.
