CHAPTER MEETING Minutes “Vader’s” House 10 MAY 15

 “Gator” requested a motion to accept last month’s minutes as they were posted on members only site. Motion “Wow” by 2nd by Dallas, no discussion, motion passed.

 Treasurers Report read by “Kato”. Discussed Chapter accounts balance; Chapter funds, poker run fund and charitable fund. Motion to accept by “Cowboy”, second by “Wow”. No discussion, 1 x abstain, motion passed.

 Quartermaster Report read by “Hog Rider”.

o Discussed sales for the last month and the QM account balance. o Sales from State Meeting

 Old Business:

1 o “Smoke” discussed the money that was raised from the chapter yard sale, $653 to be deposited by “Smoke”. o “Smoke” discussed the funeral detail escort from this week and the families appreciation. o Additionally the volunteers for the Warrior Bike week. o “Red Ryder” discussed the timeline for the chapter bylaw change proposals to be voted on in July. o Motion to accept Old Business by “Wow”, 2nd by “CE4”, 1 x abstain, no discussion, motion passed.

 New Business:

o “Smoke” discussed the “Cowboy” will be stepping down as Poker Run chair due to moving out of state. “Hot Tub” volunteers to chair the Poker Run this year. o “Hot Tub” asked for the way ahead with the 501(c) based on last month’s discussion and vote, “Smoke” told her that if there is anything she needs to move ahead to ask any of the officers to proceed. o “Smoke” asked who all planned on attending this year’s Nationals and hit major events as per the agenda that was posted. o Information put out as to “Rockeye” no longer holding the NSAA position. “Rockeye” has been appointed as the NSEC due to “Ghostrider” stepping down for personal reasons. The NSAA position will remain vacant until the National meeting vote. o “Hog Rider” discussed the State Rep nominees and the timeline for voting at chapter level. o SAA additionally discussed the Rebel’s MC and their activity in Tennessee and how to conduct ourselves if approached. o Discussion on Chapter elections for Commander and Treasurer and the process for nominations and dates, open from today and to be closed 21 JUNE 15. Nominations will be open and can be sent by email or snail mail. Nominations can be made openly at meetings as well. o Motion to accept New Business by “Wow”, 2nd by “Bozo”, 1 x abstain, no discussion, motion passed.

 Poker Run Committee:

o “Hot Tub” discussed the raffle tickets for the hand gun and to contact her for those who what to sell them. For the member that sells the most tickets will be treated to a steak dinner by “Hot Tub”.

2 o “Red Ryder” talked about the accountability of tickets for those who sign them out. o Next meeting will be held immediately following this meeting.

 Gone but not Forgotten Ride:

o “Trunk” discussed details for the support vehicle as discussed at last meeting. “Gator” read minutes from last year’s meeting with details for how the membership voted on money for fuel support vehicle and for those who have to trailer their bike. Motion made by “Bozo” to mirror the motion, 2nd by Dallas. 1 x abstain, no further discussion, motion passed.

 Good of the Order:

o “Smoke” discussed the chapter’s involvement with Patriot Park for the newer members and the events throughout the year that the chapter does such as the flag placement for Memorial Day. o “Smoke” discussed the members getting out to other chapter events outside of Clarksville. o “Red Ryder” talked about the potential dates for the next nursing home visit, 16 MAY or 23 MAY to Dogwood Bend. More information to be put out as it gets closer. Additionally the Dough Boy escort, more to follow. o “PaPa Smurf” was the first chapter member to be awarded the Distinguished Rider Program patch for achieving more than 2500 miles since the chapter adopted the program. o “Gator” discussed the Tennessee Independent Coalition of Bikers (TICB) and the information put out at the State Meeting and our potential involvement as a State. Members are strongly encouraged to research it and read the bylaws and bring up any questions or concerns. SAA discussed potential issues or concerns pertaining to funds raised and where they go to. o If members need ID cards, see “Gator”. o “Toy Box” will be selling vest beads after the meeting with a portion of the proceeds to be donated back to the chapter. They will also be sold at Nationals. o “Hog Rider” reiterated protocol and behavior by members with local MC’s. o “Gator” talked about a past member that transferred to Alaska, “Crawdaddy”, that was injured in the line of duty. There will be a get well card at the officer table for those who would like to sign it and it will be mailed to “Crawdaddy” this next week. o “Toy Box” asked that if any member has donations for the vet home i.e. puzzle books, socks, etc… to bring it to her for this Christmas. o “Smoke” asked for those who attend Nationals to have an idea for the next meeting to coordinate plans for link up and departure. Additionally for accountability as groups leave and arrive. “Hog Rider” discussed those going to

3 Nationals will have a time slot on the quartermaster table to assist in sales. o “Blade” brought up an idea to have an Association House which is an apartment on her property that she is willing to allow the chapter to use. “Hog Rider” discussed the “rules” that would be implemented to protect “Blade” and the chapter if the membership agrees on doing so. No funds from the chapter will be used towards the upkeep on the house. o “Treetop” is putting together a “toy” party for the women.

 Upcoming events:

o “Vader” discussed upcoming local events for the month. o Also discussed “Hog Rider’s” and “Red Ryder’s” wedding on 06 JUN 15. “Hot Tub” and “Toy Box” are heading up the food, please contact them to coordinate. o “Vader” and Dallas talked about the chapter website and progress.

 Location of next meeting:

o “Kato” had Claire draw number for 50/50. o Next chapter meeting will be held at Nayla’s house, 14 JUNE 15 @ 1500. - 3600 Rabbit Run Trail, Adams, TN. o Next BOD meeting will be at “Hog Rider’s” and “Red Ryder’s” house, 03 JUNE 15 @ 1800.
