Note: Terms are one year terms. To apply for an officer’s position, you must be an active TJRAA member and dues must be current. You may serve as royalty or as an officer/director, but not both. Officer applicants must be between 13-21 years of age as of January 1st.

 Election process will be based on a 100 point system.

o 10 question breed quiz – 20 points

o Popular vote – 25 points

o Interview – 35 points

 Conduct disrespectful of the office and organizations will result in removal from position as determined by the TRAA/TJRAA executive committee.

 Attendance is required to at the following TRAA/TJRAA events ie: TJRAA State Show, Fort Worth Junior show, Houston Junior Show, Field Day. The leadership team will assist with all fundraisers and may be called upon to help at sales sponsored by TRAA or TJRAA, as well as promoting the Red Angus breed in speeches or interviews and any other duties necessary to ensure the success of the TJRAA.
