Let’s Go Learn Assessment Please Print This Document

Please have your child complete the Let’s Go Learn assessments assigned to him or her during these test windows:

1st window: Aug 13 – Sept 26 2nd window: Jan 5 – Feb 13

The assessments will be utilized for diagnostic and prescriptive purposes. Unlike other forms of assessment, Let’s Go Learn’s assessments adapt to each student’s abilities in real-time. All assessments begin in relation to a student’s grade level. As the student answers sets of questions, the assessment adapts according to his or her responses. It is extremely important to allow students to work on the assessment independently. Any assistance to the student can impact the length of the test, increase the difficulty of the items beyond the student’s ability, and affect the validity of the results. No calculators or dictionaries are allowed during the test, unless approved by your Instructional Supervisor. Thank you for your cooperation.

Please read and follow the directions below before taking the assessment:

 Open the browser and type the following link directly into the address box (www.letsgolearn.com). Click on the “Student Login” button.

 On the student login page, perform a system check by clicking on the “System Check” link on the left. This link will check that your computer’s audio is working and that you have the Adobe Flash Player Plug-in installed correctly on your computer. Currently, iPads are not supported.

. Your Student’s Login Credentials are as follows (note they are case sensitive): . Login: ********** . Password: ********** . School Code: *********

 Once your computer passes the system check, enter your child’s login, password, and school code. (If no school code was provided to you, then leave this field blank.) The screen will then welcome your child to Let’s Go Learn. Please click on the appropriate assessment icon located in the middle of the page. Your child does not have to complete multiple assessments in one day or complete a test in one sitting (it is recommended to take only one assessment in a day).

. Make sure your child’s environment is quiet and free from distractions . Consider using headphones . For math assessments, provide scratch paper and a pencil for your child . If your child seems restless, consider taking half-hour or hour breaks. . The assessment will resume where it left off.

During the assessment(s), we recommend that you keep busy, to avoid the temptation to help in any way.

 Once your child has completed his or her assigned assessments, please contact (email/phone call) your Instructional Supervisor.

 I understand my responsibility in proctoring the Let’s Go Learn assessments to my student and the importance of my student completing all tests on his or her own with no assistance.
