Robert L. (Rob) Forget Associate Director of Admissions Enrollment Management University of Wisconsin-Madison

Rob Forget (pronounced For-shay) was born in Hancock, MI in 1966 and graduated from Dollar Bay High School in 1984. In the fall of 1985, Rob enrolled at Northland College in Ashland, Wisconsin on a basketball scholarship. After transferring twice, first to Michigan Technological University and then to Northern Michigan University, Rob received his B.S. in Business Administration from NMU in 1989. Rob has 19 credits towards his master’s degree in Education Administration and Leadership.

In 1990, Rob joined the Admissions Office at Michigan Technological University as an admissions representative. During his fifteen years at MTU, Rob has held many positions including Campus Visit Coordinator, Assistant Director, Associate Director and Director. In 2005, Rob left MTU to join the Office of Admissions at the University of Wisconsin-Madison as Associate Director for Recruitment.

A member of many professional organizations including the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers as well as the National Association for College Admission Counseling, Rob has served on many campus and professional organizations as well as being trained in Total Quality Education (TQE).

Rob currently resides in Mt. Horeb, WI with his wife (Liz) two children, Tyler (16), Tristyn (12) and dog Chloe.
