Position: Linux Apache MySQL Php (LAMP) Developer

About the ODP: OACCA launched the ODP in 2007 as a tool to help child welfare agencies improve the services that they provide to children. ODP measures the agencies’ program performance and provides an objective basis for clinical and financial decision making. The project currently measures foster care, residential treatment, and independent living services.

Job Function: The LAMP Developer coordinates and maintains the web based system of the ODP. The position is supervised by the ODP Project Manager. The position will require about 6 hours of service each month, or about 75 hours each year.

Specific Tasks and Responsibilities: 1. Monitor and maintain the web based system of the ODP 2. Provide support and technical assistance to clients and users as directed by the supervisor 3. Assist, as needed, in training clients and users 4. Attend ODP meetings as requested 5. Work directly with the client – OACCA member participants – listening to requests, estimating cost of any requested adjustment, and making adjustments to the system as directed 6. Add/develop new functionality to the system as directed 7. Work with the users – data entry personnel – listening to their feedback to make the system more user friendly 8. Work with users, as directed, to assist them to understand the technology used by the system which facilitates data loading, report generating, and other system features 9. Keep the server running 10. Perform other related tasks as assigned by the director of OACCA and/or the supervisor

Qualifications: 1. A familiarity with and understanding of the LAMP technology utilized by ODP 2. A familiarity with and understanding of “R” statistical modeling/graphing software 3. The ability to work directly with clients and users 4. A familiarity with social service program delivery will be helpful

Accountability: The LAMP Developer is directly accountable to the ODP Project Manager, and will work with the ODP Steering Committee and the OACCA Executive Director as assigned. The LAMP Developer, its agents and employees will at all times be acting and performing as an independent contractor and not as an employee of OACCA. OACCA shall neither have nor exercise any control or direction whatever over the methods by which the LAMP Developer shall cause its agents or employees to perform its service and functions.
