There is only one form of the present tense in French.

ne … pas makes a sentence negative. It forms a sandwich round the verb in the sentence. Verbs which begin with a vowel or h make je shorten to j’ j’ai une télé. When you use ne … pas, j’ becomes je again, and ne shortens to n’ je n’ai pas de télé.
