Title: Natural Products and Cosmetics

Objectives: The student should:

 Identify all the natural Constituents that are used in both skin & hair care products.

 Identify the formulations used in Alternative and traditional medicine as skin & hair care products.

 Analyze these formulations.

Requirements:

1. A report including:

 Definition

 Mechanism of action

 Most common natural constituents used in this type of formulation.  Examples of the products (Trade name, constituents) either in the Egyptian market or not [including photographs for the products.

2. Formulations from herbal stores: For each formula: ingredients, method of administration, analysis (comment).

3. Questionnaire:

4. Analysis & Report of questionnaire Report should include:

 A summary for the most common mistakes in ingredients, methods of administration of the studied formulations.

 A summary for the most commonly used ingredients and methods of administration.

5. Presentation 6. Brochure: in Arabic, to be a guide for people to the proper ingredients and proper use for the formulations under study.
