Classroom Rules

 Be on time!  Be respectful!  Be ready to learn!  Sit in your assigned seat every day.  Have your materials every day.  Food and drinks are not allowed.  No cell phones.  No ipad games unless as a part of the class.

Supplies

 Spiral for notes  Pencils and eraser  Ruler  Protractor  Notebook paper - for homework  Recommended Calculator – TI 83 or 84 Plus Graphing Calculator (one will be provided for in-class use and you can also download an app on your ipad)  Please bring: kleenex box and 4 AAA batteries

Grading Procedures

 Grading Categories: Practice (Homework and Quizzes) – 25% Application (Projects and some in-class activities) – 25% Evaluation (Tests) –50%  Late work will be accepted under the guidelines of the MISD Student Handbook.  Retesting is allowed under the guidelines of the MISD Student Handbook.  All students will receive a three-week progress report.  Student will receive an itemized progress report if failing at the three-week mark. Make-up Work  If you are absent refer to my webpage calendar and Edmodo to complete your make-up work within the time allowed by the Student Handbook. The calendar and some helpful power points as well as videos are provided on my school webpage and/or on Edmodo.  School Activity Absences…Let me know before you miss class so I can make you aware of the class assignment that will be done on that day.

Tutorials  Before School: Tuesday - Friday at 7:40  After School: Monday - Thursday until 4:15  There will be some weeks that I have before or after-school duty when I will not be in my classroom.
