Wright County Transit Coordinator / Economic Development Assistant / Office Manager Position Wright County is accepting applications for its position of Transit Coordinator, Economic Development Assistant, and Office Manager. This is a full-time salaried position.

Applicants must be proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills are required. This position includes supervision of others. It is subject to a pre- employment physical and drug test.

Wright County Transit Coordinate routes with Mosaic Prepare and submit Payroll File with Medicaid for Payments for Service Accept/Make Early Morning Calls (5-6 a.m.) for Weather-Related Bus Changes and Call Drivers Correspondence Supervise Drivers (6-9), and Discipline Drivers if necessary; Hire and Fire Schedule Safety Training with MIDAS for All Drivers, and Orientations for New Drivers Schedule Repairs Prepare claims for payment Yearly Budget preparation Meet with and Present Transit Matters to the County Supervisors, Speaking in Public Meetings Maintain maintenance records on each bus Schedule random and pre-employment drug testing requests by MIDAS & IADOT Monthly reports to MIDAS – Wright County, Clarion, Eagle Grove (6 buses) Provide training opportunities to drivers as needed per IADOT Handle disciplinary and complaint issues Schedule bus and driver for special events and requests Prepare and track billings for bus use to other agencies Prepare yearly budgets Conduct Investigations into Accidents or Incidents on Buses according to Rules Travel to accident scenes involving buses; Driver drug/alcohol testing; Reasonable Suspicion (training needed); Immediate testing at Humboldt Hospital; Wrecker called and storage arranged for post-accident inspection; Post-accident pictures; Post-accident reports; Post-accident call list activated; Work with insurance company on accidents; Driver interviews; Passenger interviews (if possible)

Wright County Economic Development Manage General Fund Reports Disbursements – monthly Create, Distribute, Post, Mail Agenda Prepare for monthly meeting and take minutes Participate in community meetings as needed Maintain Confidentiality as required

Intermediary Revolving Loan Fund (IRL) Process payments on a monthly basis Prepare loan documents Process applications to the RLF Committee, WCED, Supervisors File all documents with appropriate agencies Semi-annual Financial Reports for USDA File releases on appropriate collateral Reconcile monthly with Treasurers office Track UCC’s for expiration Become certified to access USDA information regarding loan fund Prepare letter to all loan recipients each year, including USDA requests, requirements

Home Purchase Assistance Program Process payments on monthly basis Meet with potential borrowers Contact with financial institutions Process applications for loan funds Prepare loan documents Be present at loan closing to get paperwork signed File documents with county recorder Keep track of past due accounts Prepare court documents for past due accounts Attend court hearings if necessary File mortgage releases as needed for loan pay-offs Reconcile monthly with Treasurers office
