Classes. All classes meet from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. While a preference for particular days should be indicated, AUCP reserves the right to offer class positions based on the need to match the days siblings attend. Placement for current AUCP students may vary from the dates indicated. Birth dates for classes may be adjusted to accommodate class sizes. Optional Enrichment Classes. The Owl classes (Pre-kindergarten curriculum) are available to Dolphin/Eagle students who will be four by 9/30/17. The Cheetah class (Science & Nature curriculum) is open first to non-Owl eligible Dolphin/Eagle or Penguin/Puffin students. All pre-K students who want a fourth day will be offered a slot before any student desiring a fifth day. New Members: A $25 application fee is required with each completed application. Upon acceptance, new families will pay a $120 non-refundable registration fee per family. This fee covers the central registry and criminal history searches required for each co-oping parent. In addition, one month’s tuition must be paid as a deposit to be credited to the last month’s (May 2018) tuition. This tuition deposit is non-refundable after April 30, 2017. Applications are due by February 10, 2017 to be included in the lottery (please check www.aucpva.org to learn about priority categories and deadlines). Current Members: A non-refundable $50.00 tuition deposit for each child is required with the completed application. The balance of the May 2018 tuition is due by March 17, 2017 and is non-refundable after April 30, 2017. Note: We may cancel any class if enrollment on September 1 is less than 10 children in a regular class or less than 8 in an enrichment class.
