Conserve to Preserve® Community Rewards FREE Fundraiser for Borough of Eatontown

We’re pleased to announce a new fundraising opportunity that will help us earn money to support the Borough of Eatontown while helping you to save money in the process.

The Conserve to Preserve Community Rewards program from New Jersey Natural Gas (NJNG) provides us the chance to raise up to $5,000 in just three months with absolutely no cost to you!

If you are an NJNG customer,* you can help by using the new Conserve to Preserve Dashboard at www.njng.com. This FREE online tool will enable you to track and analyze your energy use and identify energy-saving opportunities in your home. By answering a few simple questions about your house, appliances and lifestyle, you’ll get customized recommendations for energy-efficiency improvements.

For every person that completes the Conserve to Preserve Dashboard home profile, NJNG will reward us with $5. You can even encourage your family, friends and neighbors to use it. Easy step-by-step instructions are on the back of this flyer.

Don’t wait to sign up! We will only be eligible to earn these rewards from March 29 through June 27, 2012.

Non-NJNG customers should visit www.njcleanenergy.com to learn more about how to reduce the energy usage in their homes and get information about the many programs our state offers. Accessing the Conserve to Preserve Dashboard

1. Visit www.njng.com and login (or register) at My Account.

2. If you are already registered for My Account, simply login and skip to step 4.)

3. New users will be prompted to create a user name and password then answer a few security questions. - Enter your account information and number as it appears on your NJNG bill. - Enter your e-mail address to receive FREE seasonal energy-saving tips and information on programs, products and rebates through E-Tips. - Click submit.

4. Click on Manage My Account

5. Click on the Conserve to Preserve Dashboard icon. If the Dashboard won’t open, it may be due to your Internet pop-up blocker settings. Adjust your settings to allow pop-ups.

6. Fill out the Home Profile questions using the drop down boxes then press “Next” at the bottom of the page. The last question on the profile is “What encouraged you to visit the Conserve to Preserve Dashboard?” You must use the pull down box to select “Borough of Eatontown” for us to receive credit for the referral.

7. This will bring you to the main page of the Conserve to Preserve Dashboard. There are many different features in the Dashboard that will help you learn more about your energy usage. We encourage you to visit the “My Home” tab and click Detailed Analysis. Complete the easy-to-use home energy analyzer for a detailed report including recommendations on how to improve the efficiency of your home.
