WILEY X, ® INC. LAUNCHES NEW YOUTH FORCE™ SPORTS PROTECTIVE EYEWEAR LINE

Four Innovative Models and Array of Action-Ready Colors Deliver ASTM F803 Rated Eye Protection Young Athletes Will Want to Wear

The company that has protected the eyes of American service men and women, law enforcement, factory workers and even top NASCAR drivers for more than 25 years has now set its sights on protecting one of our nation’s most precious resources — the vision of America’s youth. Wiley X®, Inc. has launched a completely new line of Rx-Ready Youth Force™ Sports Protective Eyewear models for 2015, providing a range of frame sizes, styles and colors to meet the needs of young athletes coast-to-coast.

This new product line marks the first time Wiley X has developed eyewear specifically for boys and girls. The new Youth Force line consists of a variety of 12 colors in four models — the WX Flash, WX Victory, WX Fierce and WX Gamer — each designed and built based on years of experience providing vision protection under the world’s most challenging conditions.

In keeping with Wiley X’s eye protection roots, all Youth Force glasses meet the ASTM F803 Sports Protective Eyewear standard, delivering state-of-the-art protection while young athletes participate in a variety of sports including soccer, basketball, and racquetball, to name just a few. Each Youth Force style is a different size with the line fitting children ages 6 to 13+, yet each style shares innovative features that enhance performance, comfort and versatility. All Youth Force glasses are designed to quickly change from spectacles to goggles. A simple push of a button allows wearers to easily remove the temples and replace them with the included adjustable elastic strap. In addition, all Youth Force frames are Rx-Ready, making them ideal for young athletes who need vision correction along with advanced eye protection. Wiley X’s advanced DIGIFORCE™ digital Rx lens technology ensures superior prescription accuracy and clarity, along with the widest possible field of clear vision, helping ensure that young athletes can always keep their “eye on the ball.”

The new Youth Force WX Flash, with an eye size of 48, is specifically designed for younger girls and boys and smaller face sizes, and comes in a variety of attractive colors — with frames in Rock Candy Pink, Royal Blue with Lime Green, Graphite Black and Matte Black with Electric Blue Lightening.

The WX Victory, with an eye size of 51, is available in a range of eye-catching colors for boys and girls — Silver with Magenta, Matte Black with Lime Green, Gloss Black with Aluminum Pearl and Matte Black Dragon with Sonic Orange.

Young teen boys and girls will love to compete in the new WX Fierce, designed to fit their faces comfortably with an eye size of 52 and boasting attractive color combinations like Matte Blue Indigo with Grey and Dark Silver with Red.

The WX Gamer is also perfect for early teen athletes, providing the comfortable fit and unobstructed vision required for top performance. The WX Gamer has an eye size of 57 and is available in Matte Black with Dark Silver and Gloss Black with Metallic Blue that both look as good as they perform.

“We’re very excited to launch a fun, functional and stylish sports protective eyewear line for kids,” said Wiley X Co- Founder Myles Freeman, Jr. “We designed the line with quality, safety and style in mind. With their stylish looks, kid-friendly colors and fun accessories, children will love to wear Youth Force glasses, both on and off the field. And with our long tradition of providing advanced vision protection, parents can be confident that their children are well- protected during games, practice and everyday activities,” added Freeman.
