** Peak holiday season a minimum of 7 nights booked. No refunds will be paid on cancellations made during peak holiday seasons

Our fees are calculated per night from the time the trailer is collected to the time the trailer is returned.

>> Courage & Comfort trailers can be upgraded to accommodate an additional 2 guests. Cost R70 per person p/day. Additional chairs & stretchers will be supplied.

Trailer Collections by set appointment only Monday to Thursday between 8.00am -17.30pm.

Friday collections and returns between 8.00am to 14.00pm.

Trailer returns before 10.00am or an additional days rental will be charged

No trailer collections or returns on weekends or Public Holidays

BOOKING REQUIREMENTS A booking deposit to the amount of 50% of the total rental amount for the period will secure your booking. The balance, including the full insurance deposit, to be paid two weeks prior to collection date. Unfortunately no rental contract will be concluded without a full payment of fees. No exceptions will be made Once the deposit is paid the booking is confirmed. Please supply the following documentation to finalise the rental contract.

- Identity Document - A valid non-endorsed EB / B code driver’s licence, - Copy of vehicle registration document

-Proof of residence/address and - Banking details / credit card in order to refund the deposit.

Travel documents must be arranged in advance when travelling across S.A's borders.

Extension of the rental period from the original date, notice must be given to 4x4 Trailer Hire immediately to establish availability. Faltering to give notice of an extension will result in renting of the trailer without insurance coverage, and without legal agreement, and will enforce an additional cost of R2 500.00 per day, of which the Lessee will be held accountable.

The insurance deposit will be refunded within 7 working days after returning the trailer. Deductions for gas refill and / or any breakages and losses, repairs an replacements will be deducted from the insurance deposit according to our price structure and is subject to change without notice. R500 labour will be charged for all replacements / repairs of mechanical parts/ components on the trailer due to damage

CANCELLATION (excl peak periods)

40% deduction of total rental cost for cancellations less than 14 days before date of departure. Any change of dates on confirmed bookings will result in an additional 10% levy charged on the rental amount for the full rental period.

Please note:If the insurance deposit and outstanding rental amount for the period is not received at least 10 (ten) days prior to date of collection, the booking will be viewed as cancelled.
