Conditions:

1. Buck and Doe(s) owner both state that the Buck and Doe(s) are healthy, are in breedable condition, and are free from any known illnesses, diseases, infections, abcesses, excessive worms (Oak Hill raises chemical-free goats and allows a low parasite load), mange, lice and/or fungus. Bucks are certified as testing negative from CL, CAE and Johnes in the last 6 months. Bucks have a veterinary health certificate within the past 6 months.

2. If the doe(s) come back into heat after a breeding cycle, the buck will be made available for another breeding cycle. If the doe(s) are in heat and the buck or doe(s) refuse to complete at least one breeding cycle, the fee will be refunded. No refunds if the doe(s) fail to conceive after two breeding cycles, aborts, or bears stillborn kids.

Note: breeding is defined as successful mounting by the buck with the arched-back posture of the doe at culmination. Breeding is not the same as conception. A breeding cycle is 3 breedings per day, for up to 3 consecutive days.

3. Doe(s) must have a negative CAE, CL & Johnes test within 1 month prior to arriving at Oak Hill. Pooling of blood samples from does is acceptable. Doe(s) must have a veterinarian- issued health certificate within 1 month prior to arriving at Oak Hill.

4. Breeding guaranteed. Full-term pregnancy, live birth or kid survival not guaranteed.

5. Payment due before or upon arrival at Oak Hill. All checks must have cleared the bank prior to the doe(s) arrival.

6. Oak Hill will provide timothy hay, Dynamite V/M Mix For Browsers & Grazers and loose salt for the doe(s). Doe(s) owner is responsible for providing grain. Ingredient lists are available upon request. Page 1 of 2 7. Oak Hill goats will NOT be fed, given or otherwise exposed to chemical dewormers, supplements and feed (other than those approved by Oak Hill), and/or topical products. Only exception is veterinary medical care.

8. All reasonable care will be taken to provide a safe environment for the doe(s) while in the care of Oak Hill. Doe(s) owner is responsible for any accidental death, injury or illness of the doe(s) while in Oak Hill’s care. All veterinary expenses incurred will be the responsibility of the doe(s) owner. If the Oak Hill buck becomes unable to breed or dies because of the doe(s), doe(s) owner must pay $______to Oak Hill/Carrie Eastman to replace the buck plus all medical expenses. If doe(s) injures the buck, the doe(s) owner is responsible for all medical expenses. Veterinary care will be provided by Dr. Heather Henry 717-737-0806. Doe(s) owner must establish a billing relationship with Dr Henry prior to arrival at Oak Hill. Doe(s) will be retained by Oak Hill until buck replacement costs and/or medical bills are paid.

9. Doe(s) owner is responsible for dropping off and picking up the doe(s) by appointment.

10. Oak Hill reserves the right to turn doe(s) away or stop the breeding cycle early if the doe(s) show signs of illness or infectious disease. Oak Hill will not refund fees if the doe(s) is ill or infectious.

11. If the doe(s) stay overnight, a boarding fee of $1 per 24 hours is added to the breeding fee.

12. Oak Hill may request a medical history on each doe, including the vaccination and worming schedule. Medical history must be provided prior to breeding.

13. Doe(s) may not be vaccinated or chemically dewormed closer than 21 days prior to arrival at Oak Hill.

14. Oak Hill reserves the right to refuse or stop breeding early if the doe(s) uses horns aggressively on the buck or people. Breeding fees will be refunded if this occurs. Boarding fees will not be refunded. Doe(s) owner is responsible for any medical costs associated with horn injuries to the buck or Oak Hill staff.

15. Doe(s) staying at Oak Hill may be kept in the breeding pen with the buck the entire length of the doe(s) stay or may have supervised visits with the buck, depending on personalities.
