1. Call to order and welcome Meeting called to order at 741pm

2. President’s Report:  Reminder for the group that we should submit information that demonstrates how we care courageously so we can submit for the President’s award. This would provide $1000-1500 in award monies for the chapter. Up to 4chapters can win. Exemplars and excerpts of Sepa Notes can be submitted. TRENDS info will also be included. Certification info will also be submitted.  From the AACN website: The countdown is on to the Feb. 15 deadline to submit your nominations for the Circle of Excellence President's Award for Chapters. Winners will be notified by Mar. 31 and recognized at NTI 2016. Step Forward and nominate your chapter for the recognition it deserves in fostering AACN's mission work in your community! Guidelines for preparing the exemplar: Try to be specific in describing your plans, activities and results. You may wish to address the following:  Did your chapter incorporate the theme throughout activities during the year, rather than just applying it to isolated activities?  Did your chapter effectively use the theme during chapter meetings?  Did your chapter effectively use the theme (frequency, relevancy) in communications with members, including promotion of programs and educational events?  Did your chapter effectively incorporate the theme into the content of educational programs and offerings?  Did your chapter effectively incorporate the theme into community service activities?  What outcomes, if any, did you achieve? How did incorporating the theme make a positive impact on the chapter, work environments, patients and/or the community?

2.3 Report from Region – Inspiration, Innovation, and Rejuvenation 2.3.1 Regional meeting: Region 2 and 3 meeting was attended by Barb Chamberlain on Oct 13/14. Held at the Breakers at the Shore. 2.3.2 Charlene’s report- Region 3 news for January and February, updated on Sepa Nursing Network page 2.3.3 Chapter Bylaws- no action

3. Officers’ Reports 3.1.1 Treasurer  Beginning balance 12.1.15 was $ 162,183.72  Deposits/additions $125.00  Checks/deductions $83,492.02  Ending balance 12.31.15 $78,816.70 The checks included the payment to Valley Forge of $68,458.94, also, all TRENDS speakers for the Atlanticare Sacor have been paid.  All w-9s were submitted to AACN by the 12.31 deadline. We had 62 speakers this year Merrill Lynch:  Beginning. balance 12.1.15 $206,298.16  Ending balance 12.31.15 $203,990.19  A difference of $2307.97 secondary to market losses  Total net worth $282,806.89

3.1.2 President-elect Tanya has stepped down. President-elect position is available. Deborah Pascal suggested considering an interim president elect 3.1.3 Secretary-no report at this time

4. Committee Reports 4.1.1Communication 4.1.2 Engagement/Membership- BOD members are asked to review documents and track changes and send back to Deb Paschal Deb discussed memberships listed in nursing network. AACN list of members is not accurate in relation to nursing network list. Many SEPA members are not listed as active 4.1.2 Education: Tricia Nichols and Sue Politsky are the Education Committee co- chairs 4.1.2.1 TRENDS update Save the Date for TRENDS 2016 September 27-30, 2016 4.1.2.2 PSNA 4.1.2.3 Certification  February 2016-Temple Hospital, Philadelphia PA  April 2016- Allentown PA  Speakers have been assigned 4.1.3 Awards- Clare is requesting changes related to Award content be sent to her. She requested that Rose Shaffer and Terry Campana review the audit section. Clare suggested that BOD members review the point grid. A weighing system is being developed. Barb Chamberlain suggested that each committee should be given a flat rate of points and then the members of the committee determine how the points be divided. Registration and volunteer committees are now separated. 4.1.4 Nominations – update at the next meeting 4.1.5 Research/Facebook  Feb 11th journal club,  All are welcome to join the SePA Research Committee's 2016 Journal Club on February 11th! There will be a short business meeting from 6pm- 7pm and then the discussion will begin at 7pm. Please review the attached article beforehand: Usefulness of Cognitive Dysfunction in Heart Failure to Predict Cardiovascular Risk at 180 Days. Information to be sent to grant award winners within next month 5. Announcements- Board members voted on new logo with minor changes.

 John Harper has retired from the research abstract chair. Barbara Chamberlain has offered to assume his duties for the research committee

Next meeting February 9, 2016 at 7:15 at Virtua Center for Learning  Nurse designer bag bingo can be incorporated into our next meet and greet event. This will be discussed at the next meeting. 6. Adjournment: 9:15 pm
