Our Goal

The Ritz Day Spa and Salon will provide a full range of services for you to prepare for your wedding day. You and your wedding party are very important to us and we will make every effort to ensure your day is special. We strive to offer you the best service available and please do not hesitate to ask for assistance from any of our staff members.

Typical Services for You and Your Wedding Party

Please find the descriptions of services most requested by the bride and groom as listed below. Special Occasion and Formal Hair Styling: Starting at $45.00 for all ages. Please allow at least one hour for this service. Brides are required to schedule a trial run with their stylist 1-2 weeks prior to the event. Please bring along any head piece, tiara, veil or any other items to be used on your wedding day. Your stylist will provide instructions as needed. Clients are asked to arrive with clean and dry hair. Bridesmaid Special Occasion and Formal Hair Styling: Starting at $45.00 for all ages. Please allow at least one hour for this service. Please inform your wedding coordinator if anyone in your party has exceptionally long hair to assist us in scheduling the appropriate time for your bridesmaid. Please provide a description of any special requirements such as special headpieces or flowers. This information will allow us to schedule the appropriate time for each bridesmaid. Blow Out with no special styling: Starting at $20.00. Please allow 30 minutes for this service. Make-up Application: We use Bare Minerals makeup. Cost of applying make-up is $25.00 Please allow 30 minutes for this service. Note, please bring your own eyeliner if you wish to have it applied the day of your appointment. For the Groom and the Groomsmen: Men’s haircuts are available for $15.00. Please allow 30 minutes for this service. Don’t forget about our Spa Services: Include a spa pedicure and manicure for you and your wedding party. And don’t forget a relaxing massage for the man or woman paying the bills! Please refer to our detailed menu for a list of spa services to include as part of your total package.

Ritz Day Spa and Salon Wedding Contract 2011 VERY IMPORTANT:

For anyone receiving specialty styling on the day of the wedding, please have them wear a button down shirt and come to the salon. It is recommended that you wash and dry your hair the evening prior to your appointment. We would also like you and your party to be aware that we do have other clients that will be in the salon on the day of your appointments and ask that you be courteous of them. If you would like to rent the salon from 9am to 12 noon on the day of the services, the cost is an additional $600.00.

Requirements

All brides are required to schedule a practice formal styling/special occasion trial run 2-3 weeks before their wedding day. Practice special occasion/formal hair stylings are charged at regular price. Please ensure that you bring all the accessories that you intend to wear in your hair, ex. Tiara, etc. Practice special occasion/formal hair stylings are required in order to help ensure client satisfaction.

Payment and Scheduling

Scheduling and Booking Appointments: Advance booking is strongly encouraged so that we can accommodate all of your appointments and meet your desired scheduling. We understand that changes to your schedule are a part of the planning process and we will make every effort to accommodate these changes, subject to appointment availability. We regret to inform you that we cannot change the services booked on the day of the appointment. If you are scheduled for a shampoo, blow dry and style we will not be able to change to an up do. This needs to be booked in advance. We strongly urge you to talk the services over with all of your wedding party so there are no issues on the day of your appointments. The bride assumes responsibility of payment to the stylist for all members of the bridal party included for styling. One payment to be made by the bride for total services rendered after deposit. For your convenience a 20% gratuity will be added to your total services on the day of your scheduled appointment. If you desire to leave more than the 20% gratuity, please notify us at the time of payment.

Securing Appointment Date Your appointment date(s) and service(s) will be secured when the signed contract and deposit have been received. All bookings for weddings are made on a “first-come-first-served” basis. No dates will be guaranteed without a signed contract and deposit.

Late Arrivals

If the wedding party is more than ten (10) minutes late without making contact with us, the party will be charged an additional $15.00 late fee for each guest serviced. Tardiness results in scheduling and service conflicts for you and other clients following your appointment(s). If a

Ritz Day Spa and Salon Wedding Contract 2011 wedding party is late for the scheduled service appointment time(s) and notifies us of a new arrival time, stylists may or may not be able to accommodate the new arrival time. If the scope of the original contract cannot be fulfilled due to client’s tardiness, services may be reduced; however clients are liable for the original amount.

Food and Music Our Salon offers music as well as coffee and tea for all of our clients on the day of your scheduled appointments and ask that you do not bring food or music players into the Salon.

Cancellation Policy

Any changes or cancellations must be made no later than 30 days in advance. Any cancellations on the service date will result in a full charge for the appointment. Appointment services and times cannot be changed on the day of the scheduled appointments. Doing so will result in the loss of the appointment and a full charge for the service will be incurred. It is important that all appointment services and times be closely adhered to, as originally scheduled, so that we may provide the optimal service that you deserve on your special day. If the entire wedding party cancels within 30 days of the scheduled appointments, you will be refunded your original deposit minus a $100.00 scheduling fee. Less than 30 days notice will result in loss of total cost of scheduled services plus a $100.00 scheduling fee. Third Party Wedding Photographers and Videographers are welcome in the salon on your special day, but wedding coordinators, caterers; personal makeup artist or hair designers etc. are not permitted on sight.

Marketing Promotions and Discounts: Wedding parties are not eligible for our marketing promotions and customer discounts.

Payment and Deposit: A 50% credit card deposit or cash is required at the time of booking your appointments.
