This is why I am committed to improving public education for all students, promoting economic development that benefits everyone, and, above all,safeguarding our universal civil rights. I champion efforts to raise resources for equity and excellence for students and schools. I hold public agencies accountable for creating equal access to contracting opportunities for women and minority businesses. Statement: I am socially moderate and working for an inclusive Republican Party. My work experience in local government has taught me that less government is the key to an efficient and well run State Government. Taxes need to be effectively used and appropriately levied. I will provide a balanced approach to address the funding and spending of our State’s transportation and educational budget. I champion small businesses and free enterprise and will work to change State law that allows local governments to restrict the numbers of licenses for personal transportation services. I am a 33 year resident of the 37th.
