Volunteer Opportunities

There are many volunteer opportunities with Special Olympics Colorado. Below is a sample of the various volunteer opportunities that you and/or your company can get involved with.

Day Of Event Volunteer Opportunities

ROLE DESCRIPTION TIME COMMITMENT Help out the day of an event or competition by 1-3 days/event, volunteering in a variety of different jobs: 5-10 hours/day Event Volunteer athlete/volunteer check-in, timer, line judge, scorekeeper, etc.

Be a Fan in the Stands; Support and cheer on the Varies, the more the merrier! FANS in the STANDS athletes during competitions.

Ongoing (“Class A”) Volunteer Opportunities Below is a listing of “Class A” opportunities, meaning there is ongoing and direct contact with athletes. All “Class A” volunteers must go through a more intensive registration process, which includes a background check.
