FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES

DECEMBER/1W/ 2015 Middlesex University, London

______Warm welcome in December!

Have you had your tea already? Perhaps you should have another; it is kind of windy on my side. But be cheerful - we have 12 degrees, while Stockholm has 3 and Reykjavik -1! I won’t be encouraging you to have a walk just yet though 

I have got some random facts and interesting news too. Let’s start with winter videos, to laugh about what could happen to us too: http://on.fb.me/1lvxAwv.

Have I brighten up your day already? Ohh…how nice ;P

Have you heard about branding mistakes in a global market? http://bbc.in/1N3d3GW there are so many companies which happen to operate globally with their ‘old’ name. I would mention my favourite one, but you can guess!

1 Jumping to the other box - BBC started a great series with ‘what does it mean to be a good girl’ in different countries. Check it out and compare the experiences of different cultures. I admire Damascus girl and Russian snowy reality.

Last but not least – Autodesk (http://for.tn/1IoS4BF) is opening up the software platform it uses to build its own products to outside development partners. They want to encourage developers to use the platform, called Forge. Autodesk is also launching a $100 million fund to back third parties who do that sort of work.

Finally – if you run out of ideas for the weekend either for yourself, a date or even if your kids are destroying your house due to massive energy accumulation –visit Oxygen Freejumping: http://oxygenfreejumping.co.uk/

I haven’t got anything from MDX yard – contact me if you got some news for next week 

Best wishes Anna
